Position Overview

Job Title: Technical Architect / Team Leader

Location: Hybrid - Central London (3 days per week)

Employment Type: Permanent / Full-time

Compensation: £75,000 to £90,000 per annum + 15% bonus + competitive benefits

ZKM Consulting is a forward-thinking IT services firm, dedicated to enhancing the digital framework of a varied range of clients. We are seeking a Microsoft Technical Architect / Team Leader to become an integral part of our team. This position serves as a vital link between business objectives and technological solutions, where you will assess organizational requirements and provide strategic insights to maximize business value through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance operational effectiveness, performance, dependability, cost-efficiency, and security throughout the technology lifecycle.
  • Create and deliver technical presentations, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and lead architecture evaluations, brainstorming sessions, demonstrations, and workshops.
  • Oversee the local team, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive IT services that align with the company's core values.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing business solutions within intricate application environments.
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders to convert requirements into effective Microsoft and third-party solutions.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at advancing technologies for ongoing business enhancement.
  • Refine standards and methodologies for solutions architecture.
  • Participate actively in cross-functional project teams.
  • Deliver high-quality results consistently, even under tight deadlines.
  • Engage in project planning, meetings, reviews, and sprints.
  • Ensure all development efforts comply with established architecture and coding standards.
  • Familiarity with networking solutions is essential.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role is required.

Experience and Skills:

  • Strong background in Microsoft-focused infrastructure.
  • Experience managing business transformation initiatives.
  • Proficient in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
  • A background in Computer Science or Mathematics is preferred.
