Residential Children's Services Deputy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Children's Services Deputy Manager to join our team at Headway Adolescent Resources. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting our team leaders and residential support workers in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of team leaders and residential support workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to young people.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to promote the well-being and development of young people in our care.
- Collaborate with other members of the management team to ensure the effective operation of our residential services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of young people and staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team and make recommendations for improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field such as social work, youth work, or a related field.
- Significant experience of working in a residential childcare setting, preferably in a management or leadership role.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with young people, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances.
