Shift Patterns: Rotating shifts

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide menus, take patient orders, and assist with dietary and allergen inquiries.
  • Prepare and serve refreshments and meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Maintain cleanliness in ward areas and ensure the kitchen is ready for the next service.
  • Collaborate with ward staff to meet patients' needs promptly.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by prioritizing patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain awareness of food hygiene standards.
  • Demonstrate a passion for patient care and effective communication with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
  • Work efficiently under pressure, both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet business needs.
  • Be prepared to interact with patients who may be unwell or distressed.
  • No prior experience as a Patient Care Catering Assistant is necessary; what matters most is your commitment to excellence and willingness to learn.
  • This position requires a Disclosure & Barring Service check, with costs covered by the employer.
