We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our new residential project to success, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinating with on-site personnel and sub-contractors.
- Manage and resolve site issues promptly, ensuring project progress.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager on material and plant requisitioning.
- Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor on cost issues and variation management.
- Lead and manage sub-contractors, engineering, and operational staff on site.
- Support the Project Manager in delivering the project to high standards, on time, within budget, and meeting safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Develop and review weekly work programs and progress reports for the Master Construction Programme.
- Facilitate communication between the Design Team and Construction Team.
- Ensure effective communication between the Design Team and Sub-Contractors.
- Attend and chair weekly Management Team Meetings.
- Maintain site records in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Implement and manage the Safety Management System.
- Develop and implement daily and weekly programs.
- Engineering degree/diploma or related discipline or Trade Qualifications (Carpentry) or a minimum 5 years Site Management experience.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or refurbishment projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage financial and programmed planning elements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate high responsiveness.
