Job Summary

Amazon is seeking an exceptional Program Manager who will be part of a start-up group that's defining and building cutting-edge products and service capabilities supporting Amazon's current and future initiatives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal instruction and oversight, manage multiple tasks and support projects simultaneously. Critical to the success of this role is your ability to work with big data, develop think big initiatives, communicate findings in a clear and compelling way and work effectively as part of the team, raising the bar and insisting on high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programs.
  • Use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan.
  • Develop new solutions that will be used in daily operations in the EU network, solving complex business needs in unexplored areas.
  • Enhance operational performance on every program in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations, driving improvements across a range of teams and organizations.

About the Team

The EU Ops Concessions team is overseeing end-to-end operations controllable concessions, undeliverables, and unreturned for the EU AFN network. The team runs EU-wide initiatives, which aim for customer experience improvement by recognizing, analyzing, and fixing operational defects in first, middle, last-mile, and transportation networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience in program or project management
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Experience defining and executing program requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience leading process improvements
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
