We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious graduate to join our Cost Consultancy team as a Quantity Surveyor. As a graduate, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with cost management services from inception to completion for ongoing and new commissions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with feasibility studies, procurement strategies, and contract selection to ensure effective project delivery.
- Apply value management techniques to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project outcomes.
- Support the procurement process, ensuring all stages are performed effectively, from prequalification to contract preparation.
- Assist with the preparation of contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Measure and provide valuations of work carried out, adjusting variations in accordance with contract terms and agreements.
- Support cost control and reporting services during the contract, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Identify costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges to inform project decisions.
- Participate in the evaluation of claims for delay and additional costs made by contractors and subcontractors.
- Support the issue of 'Certificate of Making Good Defects' and final completion in accordance with project requirements.
- A permanent role with a competitive salary and fully funded professional membership with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

We are looking for a future or recent graduate with a bachelor's degree or higher in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent). You should be ambitious, motivated, and eager to make a difference in the world.
