As a key member of the WGM Engineering Ltd team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of health, safety, environment, and quality.
Key Duties:- Implement and maintain WGM's health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
- Compile and analyze accident and incident reports, and conduct investigations as required.
- Develop and maintain safety-related documentation, including safety plans, training materials, and environmental risk assessments.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, such as the Health and Safety Executive and Environment Agency, as required.
- Ensure compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
To be considered for this role, you will have at least 3-5 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in an engineering or construction environment. A strong understanding of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation is essential. A NEBOSH Construction Certificate is highly desirable, and a valid UK driving license is required for travel to various sites throughout the country.
