About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management and Analytics Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data, as well as developing and implementing data analytics and reporting solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and data architects to design and implement data pipelines, transformation strategies, and advanced data reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines and transformation strategies to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Develop and maintain advanced data reporting platforms to support business decision-making
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and data architects to identify data requirements and develop solutions
  • Work with large-scale data environments and integrate data from multiple sources
  • Develop and maintain automated testing design and setup to ensure data quality and integrity
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data management and analytics, with a focus on data pipelines, transformation strategies, and advanced data reporting platforms
  • Strong technical skills in AWS, including Aurora, DMS, Glue, Lambda, Quicksight, and S3
  • Experience with Jenkins, Terraform, JIRA, and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Excellent communication and planning skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

Location

The role is based in Manchester, Rotherham, or London, with the possibility of occasional business travel to other Pearson sites. We offer a hybrid working model, with the option to work from home or in the office.
