About the Role
National Physical Laboratory is a world-leading centre of excellence in measurement science. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and developing national standards for temperature measurement.
Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality calibration services to customers, using state-of-the-art facilities and expertise. You will work closely with colleagues to combine calibration work with laboratory support duties, such as managing equipment inventory.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require good science A Levels or equivalent qualifications, and preferably higher educational qualifications or laboratory experience. A physics degree or directly relevant laboratory experience is required for the Scientist level.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of national standards for temperature measurement.
- Deliver high-quality calibration services to customers using our leading capabilities.
- Manage equipment inventory and support laboratory activities.
