Site Acquisition Specialist

Join Project People as a Site Acquisition Specialist and take on a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our telecommunications network. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring seamless connectivity for individuals and businesses alike. As a Site Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the complete site acquisition process, from pinpointing optimal locations to negotiating leases and supervising project execution while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify strategic sites for new cellular towers and telecom infrastructure. Lead negotiations with landowners to secure advantageous lease or purchase agreements.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and within financial parameters. You will oversee the entire site acquisition process, guaranteeing that all deliverables are achieved punctually and to the highest quality.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams (legal, finance, engineering) and external partners (landowners, local authorities) to ensure alignment and collaborative efforts towards common objectives.
- Navigate the dynamic regulatory environment. Ensure all site acquisitions meet applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proactively identify potential challenges before they escalate. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive records documenting all acquisitions, project developments, and compliance information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in site acquisition within the telecommunications sector or a related field.
- A solid understanding of relevant telecommunications regulations and compliance obligations.
- Strong negotiation capabilities with a history of securing favorable agreements.
- Excellent project management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address risks effectively.
