About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist care to patients with gynaecological cancers, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development of our services, including the design and implementation of new treatments and protocols.
  • Teach and train junior medical staff in gynaecological oncology.
  • Participate in audit and research projects relevant to gynaecological oncology.

Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with inclusion on the Specialist Register of GMC or eligible for award of CCT in Gynaecology Oncology within 6 months of interview.
  • MRCOG or equivalent qualification.
  • Appropriate levels of skills and abilities expected from a properly trained consultant in gynaecological oncology.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of up-to-date gynaecological oncology.
