About the Position:
As a Facility Plumbing Technician at CBRE, you will play a crucial role in the upkeep and functionality of plumbing, mechanical, and distribution systems across various facilities.

This position falls under the Engineering and Technical Services sector, where your expertise will contribute to the maintenance and repair of essential equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs, installations, replacements, testing, and troubleshooting of water and medical gas supply systems.
  • Install new plumbing systems, piping, and fixtures according to blueprints, specifications, and relevant codes.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of waste and vent lines using appropriate tools such as plumber's snakes and jet washers.
  • Collaborate with team members or contractors on various projects and equipment installations.
  • Perform plumbing safety inspections on backflow prevention devices.
  • Provide training to colleagues to enable them to handle basic plumbing maintenance and repairs.
  • Carry out general maintenance and operational duties related to building systems as assigned.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations, coordinating additional assistance as necessary.
  • Adhere to all operational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
  • Participate in HSE programs and activities, including incident investigations and audits.
  • Report any potential hazards that could lead to accidents or injuries to management.
Qualifications:
  • Level 2/3 Diploma in Plumbing or an equivalent qualification.
  • Preferred certifications include Gas and Backflow.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
  • Must meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to lift and carry loads of 50 lbs. or more, as well as perform tasks involving bending, standing, and climbing.
  • Ability to make informed decisions based on the analysis of various information sources.
  • Open-mindedness towards innovative solutions for existing challenges.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with a curious mindset.
