We are looking for dedicated individuals

We are seeking a minimum of 3 full-time or 6 part-time Care Assistants to deliver care and support to individuals in need.

If you possess the ability to bring joy to others during home visits, then a role as a Care Assistant with Be Caring may be the perfect match for you. No formal qualifications are required, but a strong set of values is essential. Each day presents unique challenges, and a positive attitude is crucial.

Compensation: £12.30 per hour (drivers) - paid per shift, including travel time

  • Mileage reimbursement: 45p per mile for drivers
  • Incentive programs: up to £300 for new starters, £300 for referrals, and an annual bonus of £300. £25 birthday gift voucher.

As a Care Assistant with Be Caring, your work schedule will align with our shift patterns, which include late shifts and alternating weekends.

  • Early Shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Late Shifts: 3:00pm - 10:00pm (end time may vary based on transport availability)

We will establish a 2-week rota that includes:

  • Alternating full weekends.
  • Evening shifts as agreed upon.

Role Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant at Be Caring, you will utilize your existing skills, such as patience, empathy, and effective communication, which are vital for success in this role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering personal care while maintaining individuals' dignity.
  • Encouraging independence through supportive approaches.
  • Assisting individuals in achieving their personal goals, involving family and professionals as needed.
  • Connecting individuals with community resources and services.
  • Providing tailored care that prioritizes individual choice and control.
  • Communicating effectively, documenting, reporting, and sharing relevant information promptly.

Induction Training

We seek individuals who embody the values of Be Caring. Previous care experience is not necessary, as we recognize that many transferable skills exist from other roles, such as retail. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you excel as a Care Assistant.

Your induction training will cover:

  • Understanding Be Caring values and going above and beyond to meet personal outcomes.
  • Respecting dignity, safeguarding, and promoting equality and diversity.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Nutrition, hydration, and safe medication administration.
  • Safe moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sore prevention.
  • Infection control, health, and safety protocols.
  • Understanding learning disabilities, mental health, and capacity considerations.
