Job Title: Property Portfolio Manager

Location: Oxford

Salary: £30,000+ (Salary will be commensurate with experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Property Portfolio Manager to join our team in Oxford. The ideal candidate will maintain an allocated property portfolio to the highest standards, with a key focus on communication and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fulfil obligations to clients as per the Terms of Business.
  • Assist in achieving departmental targets and monitor personal performance.
  • Attend weekly and daily meetings with the portfolio management team to discuss maintenance reports and ensure effective diary management.
  • Assist the Tenancy Manager with property inspections and report findings to landlords.
  • Identify necessary repairs and suggest improvements or refurbishments to optimise rental income.
  • Ensure all works are recorded on the property management system.
  • Assist the Compliance Manager in managing contractor relationships, monitoring quality of work, and authorising invoices.
  • Complete pre-tenancy tasks in accordance with company procedures.
  • Provide first-class service to landlords and tenants.
  • Maintain good working relationships across all company divisions and ensure effective communication with the letting department and accounts.
  • Ensure properties have valid safety reports and comply with current legislation.
  • Report personal issues and initiatives to the Area Portfolio Manager and assist with out-of-hours emergency cover.
  • Liaise with landlords and tenants on check-out reports and agree on dilapidations.
  • Share skills and legal knowledge with the team, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
  • Be familiar with the operations manual and use it as a reference.
  • Meet Key Performance Indicator targets.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a face-to-face customer service role.
  • Detail-oriented with proven organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills with people at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation.
  • Full clean manual driving licence.
  • Level 3 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management - England & Wales.
  • Positive and friendly approach.
