Your Role as a Specialist Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will play a vital role in delivering person-centered rehabilitation programs based on evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, utilizing the neurobehavioral model to guide treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide holistic support to patients, addressing their physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify areas of strength and challenge, informing treatment goals and interventions.
  • Contribute to service development initiatives and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the HCPC.
  • Proven experience in neurological rehabilitation, demonstrating a strong understanding of brain injury recovery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage complex cases, prioritize tasks effectively, and work autonomously.
  • Valid UK driving license.
