About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to make a real difference in the lives of Older Adults facing functional mental health challenges. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting Occupational Assessments and Interventions, emphasizing relapse prevention, establishing roles and routines, and promoting recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Occupational Assessments and Interventions to support patients in achieving their goals and promoting recovery.
- Play a pivotal role in Discharge Planning by conducting Assessments, coordinating Interventions, and ensuring a smooth transition for patients back into the community.
- Work with Larch Ward's forthcoming Home First service staffed with Clinical Support Workers to provide up to 6 weeks of OT intervention to support earlier and/or safer discharge from the Ward.
- Support and Growth: Receive regular Supervision and access to extensive training opportunities to enhance your skills and advance your Career.
