We are seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician to join our team at Grundon, a leading waste management and environmental services company. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles, including EVs, to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Conduct daily inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Collaborate with other technicians to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall fleet performance.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
- At least 10 years of experience working on heavy goods vehicles, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- City & Guilds HGV Parts 1, 2 & 3 or NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
