Job Purpose

As a key member of the Accounts Payable team, you will assist the Team Leader in coordinating the smooth running of the Purchase to Pay system, dealing with legacy invoice postings into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and processing invoices through the system.

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables

  1. Deputise for the Team Leader and manage the local accounts payable team in their absence.
  2. Be the local Accounts Payable superuser for both the Purchase to Pay system and the ERP system, to assist the team in ensuring the smooth running of both systems.
  3. Timely resolution and response to queries from suppliers and internal customers, liaising closely with the buying and commercial teams.

Skills & Experiences

Essential skills

  1. Demonstrable accounts payable experience with exposure to high transaction volumes.
  2. Staff supervision.
  3. Good planning and prioritisation skills.
  4. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  5. Exposure to industry-leading practices would be beneficial.
