About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial accounts of our clients, providing financial insights, and leading a small team of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, and monthly management accounts.
  • Forecasting: Analyze financial data to forecast future financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure that our financial practices meet all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ledger Management: Supervise the management of sales and purchase ledgers to ensure accurate billing and timely payments.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure smooth payment runs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a small team of junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-company setting
  • Strong grasp of ledger processes and financial software
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Experience with integrating accounts from acquisitions is a plus
  • Skilled at managing and mentoring junior staff
