School Catering Team Member

We are seeking reliable and experienced individuals to join our temporary team working in various educational institutions in the Brighton area. As a School Catering Assistant, you will have a previous experience within the hospitality and catering sector, and own transport is desired but not essential as most of the sites are easily accessible by public transport. We have a variety of daytime, evening and weekend shifts available in the coming months.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with light food preparation duties
  • Set up the dining hall
  • Prepare the cutlery, plates and cups for use
  • Put food onto the service counter
  • Serve the food
  • Wash up
  • Ensure the kitchen and other areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within the hospitality and catering sector
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one
