Join Our Team as a Housekeeper/Room Attendant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our team at The George Hotel, a historic hotel in the heart of Colchester. As a Housekeeper/Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a cleaning service to all public, client, and staff areas of the building.
  • Ensure cleaning meets and exceeds our client standards, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
  • Maintain and enhance the cleanliness of the building.
  • Perform other cleaning duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure or in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Commitment to high levels of cleanliness.
  • Friendly personality with customers and staff alike.

The George Hotel has proudly sat on Colchester High Street in Essex, close to the City's Castle, for over 500 years. It has always been at the center of bustling life in England's oldest recorded town and with historical artefacts, medieval cellars dated back to AD60, period features, and beautiful beams; it really is one of a kind and a place to remember.
