- Provide education and health promotion services, including Hepatitis B vaccinations and Naloxone training.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and referrals.
- Develop and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with service users, promoting trust and empowerment.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based guidelines, ensuring our services meet the highest standards.
- Provide harm reduction advice and support, ensuring service users have access to essential resources.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to contractual and administrative requirements.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Substance Misuse Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional care. Your skills and qualifications should include:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Recent experience working in substance misuse treatment, preferably in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions.
- Ability to assess and recovery plan service users, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clinical auditing skills to inform service evaluation and improvement.
- Professional integrity and a non-judgmental attitude towards service users and stakeholders.
