Civil Engineering Project Manager - Onshore Wind

Location: UK

Work Pattern: Permanent, full-time, hybrid

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager or Senior Civil Engineer to join our client, ersg Ltd, and contribute to the success of their Onshore Wind portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage civil engineering design across a portfolio of Onshore Wind projects
  • Procure and manage civil, ground, and access engineering consultants
  • Design scopes: Transport routes, turbine hardstands, substation groundworks, track layouts, etc.
  • Provide reports, recommendations, and risk management advice on civil engineering matters
  • Collaborate with Tier 1 Contractors to ensure civil works are delivered safely and to cost/quality requirements
  • Carry out site inspections and respond to technical queries
  • Prepare the project for FID stages and procurement activities

Requirements:

  • Experience with Onshore Wind (ideally with a developer)
  • Experience of the full project lifecycle
  • Ideal: Chartered engineer with strong technical capability
