Fire Safety Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Manager to join our team at Residential Management Group Ltd. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our properties and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the subject matter expert on fire safety and building safety legislation, providing technical responses to enquiries from employees, clients, contractors, and visitors.
  • Coordinate and maintain project plans for all fire safety-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Stay up-to-date with changes to legislation and their impact on our organization, providing recommendations for implementation.
  • Design and deliver bespoke training for employees on fire safety and building safety, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and update our library of fire safety and technical information, including the Fire Risk Assessment template.
  • Represent our organization at national fire and health and safety committee meetings, as required.
  • Provide data for inclusion in reports and advise the property teams and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on deficiency and enforcement notices.
Requirements:
  • Post-qualification experience in Fire, M&E, Construction, FM, or Property Management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of RRFSO, Building Safety Act, supporting regulations, government guidance, Building regulations, and specifically Approved Document B, Housing Act, and Fire Safety (England) Regs.
  • Nebosh fire certificate or working towards Fire Diploma.
  • Membership level of IFE.
