About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Advisor to join our Health and Safety team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical advice on fire-related issues and projects, working closely with Clinical Service Boards and Capital Estates and Facility teams.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing fire safety expertise to support the delivery of the UHB service strategy for Fire
  • Undertaking fire safety risk assessments for areas of responsibility
  • Providing regular reports and submissions to senior management on fire-related issues

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification or equivalent fire safety experience, with a strong understanding of fire safety principles and practices. Membership of a professional institution, such as the Institution of Fire Engineers, is desirable.
