Role Overview

Oxford Quantum Circuits is seeking a talented Quantum Engineer to contribute to the development of our hardware-efficient quantum error detection architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, simulation, measurement, and characterisation of novel superconducting hardware platforms for quantum error correction
  • Contribute to the development of OQC's hardware-efficient quantum error detection architecture
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of innovators, creators, and problem solvers to drive cutting-edge quantum computing advancements
Requirements
  • Relevant PhD or postdoc in physics
  • Experience in the field of superconducting circuits for quantum computing
  • Design and simulation of superconducting qubits
  • Experimental design and measurement/characterisation of superconducting qubits
  • Record of publishing scientific papers
  • Experience in numerical and analytical modelling of quantum circuits
