Learning Technologies Specialist

Job Overview
The successful candidate will design, develop, deliver, maintain, and evaluate Learning Technologies training programs to support the needs of end users in operational and specialist departments across Police Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Learning Technologies training programs that meet the needs of end users.
- Deliver training programs to end users in operational and specialist departments.
- Maintain and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Learning Technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum of SCQF Level 8 qualification in a relevant learning and development subject.
- Alternatively, a combination of relevant qualifications and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a training delivery environment or experience in the use of core IT applications delivered by the Learning Technologies Department.
- Digital literacy and proficiency using multiple software packages and pieces of hardware.
- Ability to prioritize work to ensure set deadlines are met.
- Ability to travel throughout Scotland for upskilling, training delivery, meetings, and workshops.
Working Arrangements
- Fixed-term contract up until the 4th of December.
- Recruitment Vetting required.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, 35 hours a week.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be a British citizen, a member of the EU or other states in the EEA, a Commonwealth citizen, or a foreign national free of restrictions.
- Applicants must have been resident in the UK for a minimum of three years immediately prior to application for this role.
