Fire Alarm Service/Small Works Engineer
Location:
Greater London and the Home Counties

Position Overview:
The Fire Alarm Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional quality and customer-focused Fire Protection Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute Service, Repair & Installations in accordance with BS5839 standards.
  • Perform servicing on Fire Alarm Systems and additional fire safety equipment.
  • Replace components of Fire Alarm Systems, including batteries, detectors, and related apparatus.
  • Identify and report deficiencies in the installed system to comply with the relevant BS standards.
  • Travel across London, Kent, and the Home Counties.
  • Provide 24-hour emergency call-out support on a scheduled basis.
  • Maintain physical fitness to climb ladders independently.
Qualifications:
Level 3 or higher in fire alarm certification.
Completion of FIA modules
ECS training
Participation in manufacturer training programs

Skills and Attributes:
  • Familiarity with Conventional, Addressable, and Wireless Fire Alarm systems is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and adhere to deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of Construction Health and Safety regulations.
  • Relevant background in electronic engineering, electrical, or a similar trade.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality service to clients.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt work methods as needed.
  • Integrity, reliability, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Willingness to attend training sessions and workshops.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
