We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team in Scunthorpe, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the store's day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Assist customers with product selection, providing expert knowledge and advice.
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain the store's visual presentation and stock levels, ensuring a clean and tidy environment.
  • Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks, ensuring accurate stock levels.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets set by the store management, driving sales growth and revenue.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Basic IT skills for till and stock management systems, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
