Job Title: ASD Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ASD Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an ASD Tutor, you will be working with children and young people who have additional needs, providing one-to-one support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent in the future. You will be working with children and young people who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing support and guidance to help them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to children and young people with ASD, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of each child or young person.
  • Work with teachers and other professionals to ensure that the child or young person receives the support they need to succeed.
  • Monitor and record progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure that the child or young person receives a comprehensive and coordinated support package.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children and young people with ASD or other special educational needs.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.
  • DBS clearance and a current first aid certificate.
