Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled AP/AR Financial Analyst to join our team at Goodman Masson. As an AP/AR Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable (AR):
    • Conduct credit control activities, including the pursuit of outstanding invoices via communication with clients
    • Issue and adjust AR invoices
    • Accurately allocate AR accounts
    • Timely issue statements
    • Prepare and maintain aged debtors reports, including detailed notes on overdue invoices
    • Conduct client credit checks
    • Efficiently process Zendesk tickets for AR within agreed service level agreements
    • Perform ad hoc duties as needed
  • Accounts Payable (AP):
    • Oversight of the purchasing system, including Docuphase
    • Management of the specialized food ordering system, ProcureWizard
    • Reconcile supplier statements
    • Prepare BACS payment runs
    • Monitor Agents' Commission invoices
    • Timely process Zendesk tickets for AP within agreed service level agreements
    • Collaborate with suppliers and colleagues to resolve queries, disputes, or outstanding invoices
    • Ensure compliance with Payment Practice Reporting
    • Perform ad hoc duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in similar AP and AR roles
  • Proficient in systems management with an inclination towards adopting new technical solutions
  • Exemplary attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines, exhibiting exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in computer literacy, including expertise with Microsoft and Google Packages, particularly Excel/Google Sheets, as well as familiarity with accounts and purchasing software
  • Flexible, proactive mindset with the capability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
