This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and development teams to capture business requirements and create business flow diagrams. As a hybrid position, the selected candidate will be expected to work both remotely and in the office. The Senior Business Analyst will report directly to the Project Manager, ensuring that business requirements, enhancements, modifications, and newly identified initiatives are comprehensively documented for the successful implementation of Information Technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with clients and the project management team to develop business requirements in response to requests for system enhancements, modifications, and new initiatives.
  • Collaborating with the technical team and vendors to ensure that requirements are integrated into system design and testing processes.
  • Assessing alternative strategies and providing recommendations for viable solutions that align with existing technologies and systems.
  • Creating detailed requirements documentation and business flow diagrams.
  • Actively participating in functional and systems integration unit testing; developing test plans, scenarios, and documenting testing outcomes.
  • Assisting clients with testing procedures.
  • Designing and delivering training sessions for clients.
  • Providing ongoing implementation and maintenance support.
  • Conducting regular meetings with clients.
  • Proactively suggesting improvements for systems and processes, performing competitive problem and opportunity analysis, and capturing results in the form of a business case to propose new change initiatives.
  • Keeping the Project Manager informed of critical issues that may affect project implementation.
  • Facilitating project conference calls, status meetings, and planning sessions, while providing comprehensive meeting notes.
  • Utilizing system-based project management applications, collaboration tools, and MS Office applications such as Visio, SharePoint, Google Meets, and Teams.
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-driven and proactive Business Analyst with a keen attention to detail.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience with relational databases (SQL), system development lifecycle (SDLC), and methodologies.
  • 7 years of expertise in quality assurance techniques and change management processes.
  • 7 years of proficiency in project planning, requirements gathering, business analysis, business process mapping, procedural writing, and process engineering.
  • 7 years of experience in problem-solving, active listening, negotiation, conflict resolution, group facilitation, and both written and verbal communication.
  • 7 years of organizational and time management skills, along with presentation capabilities.
  • 7 years of experience managing, coordinating, and prioritizing multiple activities concurrently with minimal supervision and adapting to changing priorities.
  • 7 years of knowledge in business process engineering methods.
  • 7 years of experience with various project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile.
  • 7 years of ability to blend methodologies effectively to suit project and business environments.
  • 7 years of capability to operate efficiently in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • 7 years of strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • 7 years of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 7 years of strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
