We are seeking a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analysis within IT projects, specifically in software and application development.

The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams to enhance processes and elevate the quality of Client Software Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Gain a comprehensive understanding of operational systems.
  2. Engage with business and technical teams to formulate requirements for system enhancements.
  3. Convert requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
  4. Create visual diagrams to clarify modifications for both technical personnel and executive management.
  5. Suggest alternative solutions that effectively balance cost and benefits while ensuring compatibility and performance.
  6. Facilitate consistent project delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Monitor and report on project metrics, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Test Planning, Storyboarding, and Requirements Gathering.
  • Experience in requirements elicitation, storyboard creation, wireframe development, test planning, and execution.
  • Strong background in Agile Business Analysis with a solid grasp of Scrum principles.
  • Expertise in managing sprint and product backlogs.
  • Ability to translate client and product strategy into application requirements and user stories.
  • Proficient in analyzing and documenting business and system processes.
  • Prior experience in a State of Virginia IT Business Analyst role is highly preferred.
