Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Anson McCade. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our OpenStack environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-availability OpenStack environments using automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to provide support and ensure the smooth operation of our software-defined data centers.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and logging tools to ensure service continuity and security best practices.
  • Provide expert-level support for OpenStack services, including Nova, Neutron, Keystone, Glance, and Cinder.
  • Work closely with our Linux engineering team to ensure the stability and performance of our RHEL-based infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • SC Clearance is required to be active or obtained before joining.
  • Extensive experience with OpenStack, Ceph, and Linux (RHEL) environments.
  • Proficient in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex issues.
  • Excellent customer service, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary: up to £80,000 (dependent on experience).
  • Annual bonus: up to 21% of base salary.
