About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure solutions for our hybrid cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and mitigate security risks in our IT infrastructure
  • Design and implement secure architectures for our cloud-based systems
  • Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to ensure the security of our systems
  • Investigate and stay up-to-date with the latest security standards and protocols
  • Ensure that our security solutions comply with corporate policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with our System Integrators and Vendors to ensure seamless integration of security solutions
  • Develop and implement response plans for security-related incidents
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proven experience in security architecture and implementation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Expertise in security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems
  • Experience with key operating systems, including Windows
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks
Desirable Skills
  • MS Azure certifications and professional qualifications
  • Cisco accreditations
  • Qualification or membership of a professional body in Information Security
  • Experience of Cyber Security Standards
