As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with mental health issues, working collaboratively with other professionals to deliver effective interventions.
Main Responsibilities- Provide holistic care to patients with mental health issues, including planning and implementing care plans, administering medications, and developing relationships with patients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver effective interventions, including group and individual work with adolescents and their families.
- Assess risk using relevant assessment tools and escalate as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other professionals, using clear and concise language to convey complex information.
- Apply up-to-date professional knowledge and evidence-based practice to deliver high-quality care, staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field.
- Registered Nurse and/or another appropriate registered nurse training (RMN, Children's Nurse, Learning Disability).
- Ability to travel independently and efficiently to deliver clinical care from multiple sites, including service user homes.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex and sensitive information to patients and families.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
- Knowledge of safeguarding issues, the Mental Health Act, and the Mental Capacity Act, as they relate to young people referred to this service.
