Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to the CAMHS team and contribute to the development of service strategies and policies.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients with complex mental health needs.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to patients and their families.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of service improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and support junior staff members and contribute to their professional development.
- Eligibility to register with the General Medical Council (GMC) and hold a license to practice.
- Specialist registration in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or equivalent experience.
- Approved Clinician status or ability to achieve within three months of appointment.
- Valid UK driving license or alternative transportation arrangements.
