Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated clinician to join our Transformation Unit as a Band 7 Senior Practitioner in Mental Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist evidence-based treatment to patients within our Complex Emotional Needs service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychotherapy services to patients with complex emotional needs.
  • Take on management and leadership responsibilities within the team and broader service, including supervision, assessments, and management of junior team members.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or Allied Health Care Professional with NMC/HCPC/UKCP registration.
  • Basic training in Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) and experience of Structured Clinical Management (SCM).
  • Proven experience of working with complex presentations and a capacity to supervise junior members of staff.
