Tax Manager Job Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at a thriving firm of accountants in Frome. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of tax accountants, reviewing and completing corporate tax returns, and providing a full suite of compliance and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of tax accountants and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Review and complete corporate tax returns and accounts
  • Manage end of year returns and payroll, including P11ds
  • Oversee and develop tax return processes for the department
  • Manage workflow and ensure deadlines are met
  • Meet with clients to provide tax advisory services
  • Encourage, support, and mentor junior team members, overseeing professional development and championing customer service excellence
  • Troubleshoot and liaise with HMRC
  • Proactively investigate and identify opportunities for the firm and clients
  • Offer first-class communication internally and externally, both written and verbal
