Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Summary:

Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a special needs school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to children with SEND, helping them to understand and engage with their lessons.
  • Assist children with moving between classrooms and provide personal care as needed.
  • Develop strong relationships with children, their families, and school staff to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to identify areas of need and provide feedback on child progress.
