As a Senior MRI Radiographer, you will find numerous opportunities for professional growth and service enhancement. Experience in Cardiac MRI is highly advantageous, along with familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment. Our service operates from 8 am to 8 pm, Monday through Saturday, with shifts designed to align with these hours. We seek a dedicated and experienced radiographer eager to advance their clinical and supervisory capabilities.
A minimum of 2 years of MRI experience is required. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in our extended evening and weekend MRI services.
Candidates should demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Radiology and a keen interest in service improvement to maintain an efficient and progressive department.
Commitment to additional responsibilities is essential, including participation in the out-of-hours and 7-day working rota.
Your role will involve mentoring junior staff and contributing to the training of students, as well as addressing daily challenges related to workload management and patient inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services across a diverse caseload. Exhibit proficiency in utilizing all relevant equipment within your scope of practice. Supervise and mentor junior colleagues. Ensure MRI safety compliance according to local regulations. Adhere to IRMER guidelines and maintain professional conduct as outlined by the HCPC. Engage in departmental audits and quality assurance initiatives. Support Clinical Lead Radiographers and the Imaging Manager. Ensure all equipment is safe and operational, reporting any faults in accordance with Ramsay Health policies. Competency in IV cannulation is mandatory. Contribute to the review and implementation of departmental policies and procedural updates. Comply with all Ramsay Health policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records in line with statutory and organizational requirements. Participate in the on-call rota, with the ability to arrive on-site within one hour of call activation.Benefits Offered:
