Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management Supervisor with a strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background to join our team at First People Solutions. As a Facilities Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing M&E services and ensuring the effective delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance, repair, and operation of M&E services across various sites.
- Manage lifecycle projects from inception to completion, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Oversee and support a team of on-site engineers and contractors, providing technical guidance where necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and project progress.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within facilities management, with a bias towards M&E.
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations.
- Experience in managing lifecycle projects, particularly in educational or similar large-scale environments.
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate a team of engineers and subcontractors.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
