About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant in the Scarborough area. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing companionship and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and conversation to clients, engaging in activities that stimulate and encourage them
  • Assist with daily living routines, including personal care and light housekeeping
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events
  • Plan and prepare meals, promoting healthy eating and hydration
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Compassionate and empathetic, with a genuine interest in supporting others
  • Reliable and trustworthy, with excellent communication skills
  • Flexible and able to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on people's lives
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.50, rising to £12.75, as well as:

  • Minimum 1 hour visits with each client
  • Paid travel allowance and expenses
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
