About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Andras Hotels. As a key member of our food and beverage operations team, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of our hotel restaurant and bar, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing everyday activity, plan and run shifts to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and improve team performance through coaching and feedback, and assist in creating training plans to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Take a hands-on approach to helping develop your team, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver to the highest standards.
  • Assist in any HR-related procedures, ensuring that all personnel matters are handled in a fair and transparent manner.

Guest Experience:

As Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food and beverage equipment is in operational condition and regularly cleaned, and that all food and beverage facilities are clean and properly stocked to anticipated business volume.

You will also be responsible for establishing and achieving quality and guest satisfaction goals, helping guests with their requests and complaints, and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.

Responsible Business:

You will be responsible for ensuring that food and drinks are secure and stored safely, and that stock is replenished to minimize waste.

You will also be responsible for reporting weekly training to your manager and performing other ad-hoc duties as required.

Financial:

You will be responsible for monitoring control expenses with a focus on labour costs as directed by management, and assisting in drinks and cocktail menu ideas and promotions.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that credit and financial transactions are handled in a secure manner.

Accountabilities:

As Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will be accountable for supervising team members and assisting in duty management shifts, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction and ensuring that all food and beverage operations are run in a responsible and sustainable manner.

Requirements:

  • Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management.
  • 1 year of related experience in a supervisor or assistant manager position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in Hospitality preferred.
  • Must speak local language.
