Exciting Opportunity for a Retail Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to join our team at Briscoes and Rebel Sport in Hastings. As a key member of our multi-site retail management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and driving sales growth in our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor team members to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Ensure the profitability of the store/s within the PC
  • Lead by example and promote a positive work environment
  • Ensure administrative and audit processes are followed
  • Maintain the integrity of inventory and ensure a safe environment for customers and staff

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role in a big-box retail setting
  • Prior experience leading staff within the retail environment
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal sales skills
  • High level of business acumen and excellent communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously and be self-motivated, with a strong team player attitude
  • Enthusiastic and calm under pressure
  • Reliable and flexible to work rostered shifts including weekends and evenings
