ESOL Vocational Instructor

At Catch22, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ESOL Vocational Tutor to join our team. As an ESOL Vocational Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential and progress in their academic and professional careers.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach ESOL students from pre-entry level to Level 2, using a range of teaching and learning strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning resources that meet curriculum requirements and promote student progress.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions to support student achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective pastoral support for learners, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of the ESOL curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant, effective, and aligned with national standards.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results, using data to inform teaching and learning practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, stay updated on best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the ESOL program.
- A recognized teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent, is essential.
- A degree in a related subject and Level 5 Teaching Qualification is desirable.
- Proven experience in teaching ESOL students, with a strong track record of student achievement and progress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of the program and the organization.
