Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join our team at Reed. As a Conveyancing Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Conveyancing department with a variety of cases, including new build properties, shared ownership, and transfer of equity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Conveyancers with legal aspects of property purchases, including compiling, checking, and summarizing information related to contracts, mortgage offers, and settlement statements.
- Support the Conveyancing department with administrative tasks, including filing, appointment scheduling, and maintaining client files.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and local government bodies to manage expectations and ensure smooth communication.
- Handle queries regarding files telephonically or in person.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Conveyancing Secretary.
- Proficiency in using online portals, Leap, InfoTrack, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities.
