About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager at The Harbour, Blackpool. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in promoting high standards of care and supporting the implementation of local and national strategies.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, with post-graduate experience and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to assess, plan, and implement care needs, as well as rotate across specialty areas and work shifts covering 24 hours, seven days a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of local and national strategies
  • Rotate across specialty areas to support the needs of the ward
  • Work shifts covering 24 hours, seven days a week
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with the following skills and experience:

  • Registered Nurse - Mental Health with post-graduate experience
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement care needs
  • Experience of rotating across specialty areas
  • Ability to work shifts covering 24 hours, seven days a week
