Job Description

Made By Mortals is seeking a skilled Marketing & Communications Officer to join our team and contribute to our mission of amplifying lived experience knowledge and attracting investment in our people-powered audio, film, music, and theatre productions.

We're looking for a creative and resourceful professional with experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the health and care, arts, and/or events sector. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a proven ability to write high-quality, engaging, and targeted copy across print and digital platforms, and a good understanding of different social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver all marketing activity, including digital and social media, project-specific campaigns, and supporting new business development.
  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to achieve financial targets, increase audience engagement, and participant recruitment.
  • Collaborate with our creative team to produce high-quality content that showcases our work and resonates with our target audience.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of our marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions to optimize our strategies.

Person Specification:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the health and care, arts, and/or events sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to write high-quality, engaging, and targeted copy across print and digital platforms.
  • A good understanding of different social media platforms and experience in content creation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
