About the Role:
Fawkes and Reece is seeking a skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a prestigious £70 million project. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in optimising profitability and cash flow, and contributing to the success of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the site commercial team, ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Assist in the management of project risks and opportunities, identifying and mitigating potential issues.
- Prepare accurate costs estimates and financial reports, providing valuable insights to the project team.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, or a comparable qualification.
- Proven ability to utilise past knowledge and experience to minimise risks and maximise opportunities.
- Basic understanding of construction and pre-construction programmes.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
